Named after a family friend / 'uncle' who came from London to stay
for a week during the Second World War. He remained here happily for the rest of his life – 20 more years!
You will sleep comfortably in the generous 5’ double bed and enjoy the
ensuite shower and facilities in the 'powder room', originally used for powdering wigs in the Georgian era.
